The 2024 Olympics in Paris will see Team GB’s six boxers representing Great Britain. The team includes the super-heavyweight Delicious Orie, heavyweight Pat Brown, light-middleweight Lewis Richardson, middleweight Chantelle Reid, welterweight Rosie Eccles, and bantamweight Charley Davison. Each boxer has earned their spot through qualification, with Richardson being the last to secure his place last week in Thailand.

Charley Davison is eager to make amends for her knockout in the quarter-finals of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. She has moved up from flyweight to bantamweight for this competition and hopes to bring home a medal. Davison, along with Rosie Eccles and Chantelle Reid, won gold medals at the 2023 European Games and are considered favorites to win medals in Paris.

Delicious Orie is another favorite to win a medal as he won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Pat Brown also qualified for the Olympics after winning gold at the European Games last year. Lewis Richardson secured his spot last week in Thailand after winning silver at the World Championships earlier this year.

Team GB chef de mission Mark England expressed confidence in the talent and character of each boxer selected for Paris and is looking forward to seeing their performance on the international stage.
