Taylor Harwood-Bellis had an impressive season on loan at Southampton, making 46 appearances and scoring twice. His contributions helped the team secure a Championship play-off final victory over Leeds, resulting in a £20million permanent transfer from Manchester City.

The defender joined Southampton on deadline day last summer in a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause that was triggered by the promotion. The 22-year-old expressed his excitement about becoming a permanent member of the team and playing in the Premier League next season.

Southampton finished fourth in the Championship and secured promotion along with champions Leicester City and Ipswich Town. This achievement marks Harwood-Bellis’ second promotion in a row, after previously winning the Championship with Burnley last season.

Harwood-Bellis reflected on his journey, describing the feelings of joy and gratitude towards both Southampton and Burnley. He expressed his love for both clubs and his excitement about continuing his career in the Premier League with Southampton.
