Tracy Wolfe, owner of the world’s tallest male dog, Kevin, expressed gratitude for the time they had together as they mourned his untimely death just days after setting the record. Kevin, a Great Dane who stood at 7 feet tall when on his hind legs, fell ill and underwent unplanned surgery before passing away at the age of 3.

Kevin’s family recognized him as the best giant boy and were thrilled that he was able to break the record and bask in the attention. He surpassed the previous record-holder Zeus, another Great Dane who also died at the age of 3. Though he was reportedly quite afraid of the vacuum cleaner, Kevin was known for his love of snuggles and gentle nature.

The Guinness World Records recognized Kevin for bringing endless joy to the Wolfe family, which includes Tracy, husband Roger, and children Alexander and Ava. The family shared that Kevin had been a beloved member of their household, bringing a lot of happiness and light into their lives. They vowed to continue advocating for giant breeds and all dogs to have longer lives in memory of their beloved pet.
