On Friday, the USC Trojans officially extended an offer to quarterback Jared Curtis from Nashville Christian School (TN). Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds, Curtis is ranked as the number one quarterback in the 2026 class, the top player in Tennessee, and the ninth-best player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Curtis had an impressive sophomore season by throwing for 2,522 yards with 25 touchdowns and only nine interceptions. He also showcased his running abilities by racking up 543 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Despite his current commitment to Georgia, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) lists Ohio State as a favorite to sign the talented quarterback.

USC is gearing up for the future by recruiting young talent like Curtis. Their 2026 quarterback class also includes promising players like Ryder Lyons, who is set to go on his LDS mission that year, and Helaman Casuga from Utah. USC faced tough competition in securing former UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava from the transfer portal, ultimately successfully bringing him on board.
