Join the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) for the fourth annual Circumnavigate Lake Tahoe, also known as TERC CIRC 4. This fundraising event supports science around the lake and beyond. The kayaking event will span over seven days, from June 17 to 23. Each day will consist of a 6-to-13-mile shoreline paddle, with participants learning about Lake Tahoe’s ecology, geology, and emerging challenges.
Paddlers will have the convenience of shuttle service from takeout points back to put-in points, receive a basic strokes demonstration, a commemorative TERC CIRC 4 gift, and enjoy a party on June 23 with food, wine, beer, and other refreshments. Participants can choose to join for a day or two or challenge themselves by completing the entire circumnavigation. Space is limited, and a description of each day’s route will be provided during registration. Register at tahoe.ucdavis.edu.
