The upcoming T20 World Cup semi-finals are set, with India facing England in a rematch of last year’s semi-final. South Africa will play Afghanistan in the other match, marking Afghanistan’s T20 World Cup semi-finals debut.

The first semi-final will take place at 6 AM IST on Thursday, while India’s match against England will begin from 8 PM IST on the same day. The playing conditions for the semi-finals and finals differ, with a reserve day set for the South Africa vs Afghanistan match. However, no reserve day has been scheduled for the India vs England semi-final, which is scheduled just one day before the final in Barbados.

In case of rain interruptions during the match in Guyana, extra time has been allocated to complete it. If no play is possible on the scheduled day, both teams will advance to the final based on their group standing. This rule also applies to the other semi-final between South Africa and Afghanistan.

The first semi-final will be crucial in determining the finalists for the T20 World Cup.
