Lufthansa Technik and coatings manufacturer BASF have collaborated to develop the technology known as AeroSHARK. This innovative technology is being considered by Swiss airline for expansion to more long-haul aircraft in the near future. Claus Bauer, head of technical fleet management at Swiss, expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved so far with AeroSHARK. Each aircraft takes about a week to have the film applied, requiring precise workmanship from personnel. SWISS is proud to be the first airline in the world to have equipped an entire aircraft fleet with this cutting-edge technology. The commitment to AeroSHARK is helping SWISS make their flight operations more sustainable.
