Lewis Barbecue in Charleston, S.C. has reopened just in time for what is expected to be a busy Father’s Day weekend. The popular restaurant on N Nassau Street had previously closed temporarily for maintenance and had to cancel catering orders through mid-June.

However, the restaurant announced on Saturday that it was back in business and serving customers. In a Facebook post, Lewis Barbecue shared, “Back in business! We are open today from 11am-5pm. Thank you for your patience and we hope to see you soon.”

Lewis Barbecue did not provide specifics on the maintenance issues that led to the temporary closure. Additionally, there was no timeline provided for when the repairs were completed and when the restaurant would fully reopen. Despite this, customers are excited to see their favorite barbecue spot back open and ready to serve up delicious meaty dishes.
