In an electrifying hometown victory, Linn Grant of Sweden clinched the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed for the second time, sinking a chip-in birdie on the final hole to edge out Sebastian Soderberg and Calum Hill by one shot. The tournament was co-sanctioned by the European Tour and Ladies European Tour, with men and women competing on the same course for the same trophy and purse. The women played from a shorter set of tees, providing a unique and competitive environment.

Soderberg struggled in the final round, closing with a 77 and missing a crucial 15-inch putt on the 18th hole that would have forced a playoff. Despite being 11 shots behind at the start of the final round, Grant closed with a 7-under 65 to secure her win. She expressed her surprise and joy at the unexpected victory, stating, “Honestly I just tried to go out today and give myself an opportunity. I didn’t even think that I had the chance of winning — 11 shots is a huge gap. So I just wanted to go out, have fun and make as many birdies as possible, and enjoy it with my brother on the bag and being at home.” Hill finished strong with three birdies in his last six holes to tie for second place.
