Swansea goalkeeper Carl Rushworth believes that the team will aim for a play-off spot in the upcoming season under the leadership of boss Luke Williams. However, he is uncertain about returning for another loan term with the club.

Swansea’s manager has acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding Rushworth’s potential return and mentioned that they are actively searching for goalkeepers for the upcoming season. Huddersfield Town’s Lee Nicholls, who has previously worked with Williams, is one of the names linked with a move to Swansea following Huddersfield’s relegation.

Williams emphasized the importance of finding a goalkeeper that the team believes in, but remains open to the possibility of Rushworth returning if other options do not materialize. Rushworth, who has aspirations of playing in the Premier League, will be looking to impress new Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler during pre-season trials.

With Rushworth’s future uncertain, Swansea currently has Andy Fisher as their only established goalkeeper, with Nathan Broome also in the squad. Despite these uncertainties surrounding the goalkeeping position, Williams remains focused on finding the best options for every position on his team.
