The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District is hosting a health fair next week on April 4th from 3 to 6 p.m. at its main campus located at 1700 Third Street in Wichita Falls, Texas. This will be the first fair held by the Health District since 2019 and is designed to appeal to both children and adults.

The theme of this year’s fair is “Super Heroes, Super Health” and attendees can look forward to more than 30 kid-friendly booths, with additional activities and partners still being added as the event approaches. Participants will have the opportunity to play games, participate in activities, have their blood pressure checked, take part in a scavenger hunt, give blood, try a car accident simulator, win door prizes, and more.

In addition to the health fair, Wichita Falls Animal Services will be offering free pet adoptions and free microchipping at their location on 1207 Hatton Road throughout National Public Health Week. This collaborative effort aims to promote health and wellness within the community. Copyright 2024 KAUZ. All rights reserved.
