The upcoming season of Sunday Ticket is just around the corner, and customers are being informed of the pricing for 2024. According to a notice received from YouTube TV, the cost for Sunday Ticket plus RedZone will be $389 for the season, in addition to the $72.99 monthly base subscription fee for YouTube TV. While there was reportedly an offer for Sunday Ticket at a discounted price of $215 during the 2024 draft, this offer may have only been available to customers who did not have Sunday Ticket the previous year.

The NFL and the product have faced a public relations setback regardless of the outcome of the Sunday Ticket trial. ESPN wanted to offer the full package for as low as $70 with team-specific options, but the NFL declined. Whether or not the NFL is found to have violated antitrust laws by raising the price of Sunday Ticket in order to drive viewers to local affiliates, it is evident that the league’s commitment to choice is coming at a significant cost to consumers.

Customers will be charged $97.25 as their first monthly installment on August 5th, more than a month before the regular season begins. Uncertain about renewing their memberships, customers may consider starting the cancellation process in hopes of receiving a discounted offer. Despite ongoing class-action trial and disclosed information, it seems unlikely that these developments will sway customer decisions to keep or cancel their subscriptions.
