The jury in the Sunday Ticket class action against the NFL is now deliberating on the case. If no verdict is reached, they will reconvene on Thursday from noon ET until 7:30 p.m. ET. The trial normally does not continue on Fridays, but it is possible that the proceedings may extend into Friday.

Joe Reedy of the Associated Press reports that the presiding judge has voiced frustration with the tactics used by the plaintiffs’ lawyers during the trial. It is within the judge’s power to enter judgment for the NFL even if the jury rules against the league.

Regardless of the jury’s decision, a challenge to the pricing of the Sunday Ticket package could lead to changes that make the full package more affordable for consumers and provide fans with more options.
