This summer, Liberty Science Center in Hudson County has something for everyone, including whale enthusiasts and aspiring young scientists. Their new premium exhibition, Blue Whale: The World’s Biggest Animal, opened on Saturday, June 15. Visitors can encounter an enormous blue whale skeleton and learn about whale anatomy. They can also hear compelling stories of current whale conservation efforts and learn about the inspiring tale of this majestic endangered animal.

For kids interested in exploring different professions, the exhibition “Barbie: You Can Be Anything” is still open until August 16th. Children can discover professions that match their skills, from being a pilot to a photographer. This exhibit is perfect for kids who want to dream big and explore their passions.

In addition to these exciting exhibitions, budding scientists in grades 1-8 can join the weekly Science Camp happening from July 8th to August 16th. This year’s camp topics include paleontology, music, the Olympics, medical science, fashion and more! Registration for the camp is now open at lsc.org/camp. This camp will provide hands-on learning experiences that will spark curiosity and inspire future scientists.
