The Steelers have announced the signing of running back Jonathan Ward to their 90-man roster. Ward, who impressed the team during their rookie minicamp, has signed a one-year contract with the team. During the previous season, he played in seven games for the Titans where he ran three times for 11 yards primarily while playing on special teams. Ward also spent his first two NFL seasons with the Cardinals before splitting his time between Tennessee and Arizona during the 2022 season. In Pittsburgh, he will join the likes of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, who are the team’s top two returning backs. The Steelers have recently strengthened their backfield by signing Cordarrelle Patterson as a free agent.
