Star Trek Stars George Takei and John Cho Headline UC San Diego’s One-of-a-Kind ‘The Science of Story’ Masterclass

UC San Diego is hosting a one-of-a-kind event called “The Science of Story” Masterclass during San Diego Comic-Con, featuring Star Trek actors George Takei and John Cho. The five-day event will run from July 23 to July 28 and include exciting programming for attendees.

Participants will have the opportunity to stay on campus, attend the Masterclass, and enjoy three events at the Epstein Family Amphitheater. The event begins with an evening with George Takei and John Cho on July 23, followed by a screening of the 2009 Star Trek film with live music performed by the San Diego Symphony on July 24. The final event is a Shark Week screening of JAWS in partnership with Birch Aquarium on July 27. Tickets range from $425 for access to all events to $1200 for a package that includes five nights of accommodations. Tickets will be available starting the week of June 17.
