Gauthier is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in international port and logistics operations. He has joined SSA Marine as the president of its global container division, where he will oversee container terminal concessions in various locations across the United States, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Colombia, and Vietnam. In his new role, he will report to Uffe Ostergaard, CEO of Carrix, SSA Marine’s parent company.

Gauthier’s experience in leading and growing marine terminal operations globally makes him an ideal fit for this role. Prior to joining SSA Marine, he served as the CEO of DP World Peru and held leadership positions at DP World Ecuador and PortSynergy Group in France. His ability to drive safety, operational effectiveness, and emissions reductions has been recognized by Ostergaard as a key benefit to employees, customers, and partners alike.

In his new role as president of SSA Marine’s global container division, Gauthier expressed his excitement to work with the company’s remarkable team and customers to enhance efficiency and drive growth. SSA Marine is recognized as a world leader in container terminal management, stevedoring, and terminal development. The integration of all terminals in the US and abroad into a single division is part of a reorganization effort within the Carrix Group that also includes a division for cruise operations.
