As Ange Postecoglou continues to revamp his squad, it looks like another fringe player from Tottenham Hotspur will soon be moving on. Emerson Royal is reportedly on the verge of joining Italian giants AC Milan, with discussions between the two clubs ongoing for a potential transfer.

According to reports from Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Royal has agreed to join AC Milan this summer. The Brazilian has a deal in principle with the Serie A club for a move to the San Siro in the current transfer window. While there are no official details on the terms of the deal yet, it’s said that Tottenham is seeking a fee of around €30m for Royal, but AC Milan is hoping to secure a deal for around €20m.

Royal’s agent has already had discussions with AC Milan and both clubs are working towards finalizing the transfer. If the deal goes through, Royal will be joining a new team in Italy as he continues his career in European football. With Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon already departing, Royal’s departure could open up more opportunities for Tottenham to bring in new players and refresh their roster.
