The annual carnival fundraiser, Springfest, hosted by the North Redondo Beach Business Association, is set to return next weekend. This year marks the 41st edition of the event, which will take place from Thursday to Sunday, April 25-28, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Attendees of all ages can look forward to a wide range of activities including more than 20 rides, games, food and live music.

After being cancelled in 2019 due to the pandemic, Springfest made a triumphant comeback last year. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better with a beer and wine garden, community marketplace and live music on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the event is free but all-you-can-ride wristbands are available for $40. The festivities will kick off with family night on Thursday offering $2 rides.

Local performers including Jeremy Buck, Barley, Better Daze, Ethan Buckner, Joe’s Band and Rampage will take the stage on Sunday. In addition to local acts school bands, cheerleaders and dance groups like Jazz It Up Studios, Bollypop Dance Factory and Ohana Dance will also be performing. Proceeds from ride tickets and other purchases at the event will support North Redondo businesses and fund community initiatives such as Dine Around Artesia and student scholarships.
