The Sports Department has announced the Spring Sports Athlete of the Year winners based on the final poll results. In the girls division, Bella Van Wey from Maysville secured the top spot with an impressive 15,957 votes, leaving Brayden Snider from John Glenn in second place with 3,457 votes. On the other hand, Bryson Anderson from Cambridge emerged as the winner in the boys division with 13,715 votes, closely followed by Israel Rice from Coshocton in second place with 10,761 votes and Aidan Mahon from Philo in third place with 6,458 votes.
Bella Van Wey’s outstanding performance during the spring season earned her recognition as the top athlete in her division. Her impressive score of 15,957 votes was enough to secure her a clear victory over Brayden Snider from John Glenn. Overall, there were a total of 34,048 votes cast for the boys division and 24,968 votes for the girls division.
