This weekend, the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials will be held at the Indianapolis Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium. The top two swimmers in each event have the opportunity to secure a spot on the team for the Paris Olympics individually. Additionally, the top six swimmers in the 100m and 200m freestyles can make the team for the relays, given that the overall roster does not exceed 26 swimmers per gender.

In the Women’s 400m Freestyle event, Katie Ledecky took first place with a time of 3:58.35, followed by Paige Madden in second place with a time of 4:02.08. Other notable finishers included Jillian Cox, Kayla Han, Aurora Roghair, Anna Peplowski, Leah Smith, and Madi Mintenko. In contrast, Aaron Shackell claimed first place in the Men’s 400m Freestyle event with a time of 3:45.46, while Kieran Smith finished closely behind in second place with a time of 3:45.76.
