In 2025, the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) will be hosting their flagship European trade show, World of Coffee, in Geneva, Switzerland for the very first time. The event is set to take place from June 26-28 at the Palexpo convention center. This announcement comes just a month before the 2024 World of Coffee event in Copenhagen, Denmark. Along with the Geneva event, the SCA will also be hosting two other World of Coffee shows next year in Jakarta and Dubai, as well as their annual United States trade show, the Specialty Coffee Expo in Houston.

The CEO of SCA, Yannis Apostolopoulos, believes that Geneva is the ideal location for World of Coffee 2025. He cites Switzerland’s rich history with coffee dating back to the 17th century European coffee houses and its thriving food and beverage, hospitality and technology industries that shape the entire coffee value chain. The Geneva show will be supported by corporate sponsors like BWT Water+More and Barista Attitude, which are both part of Italy’s Ryoma Group.
