The Morocco-Spain Economic Council (CEMAES) is hosting a three-day conference titled “Moroccan and Catalan companies: an alliance to face the economic and industrial challenges of the future” from June 4th to June 6th in Casablanca, Rabat, and Tangier. The event aims to promote investment and business partnerships between Moroccan and Catalan companies.

On the first day, the delegation will meet with the CGEM and the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Morocco-Casablanca. On the second day, they will have a meeting with the Moroccan Minister of Investment in the morning and a discussion with the Caisse de Dépot et de Gestion in the afternoon. The visit will conclude with a business meeting with employers in northern Morocco and member companies of CEMAES and CGEM Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.

The purpose of this visit to these three regions, known for their economic importance, is to enhance investment and business cooperation between Moroccan and Catalan companies. CEMAES was established in 2013 through a collaboration agreement signed in Rabat in the presence of the monarchs of Spain and Morocco, along with government representatives from both countries. The organization, formed by the CGEM and the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), aims to promote bilateral business collaboration, strengthen trade relations, and encourage reciprocal investment between the two countries.
