In a recent announcement on his platform, US billionaire Elon Musk revealed that his company SpaceX would not be selling Starlink terminals to Russia. This contradicted a report from the Ukrainian government claiming that Russian paratroopers were using the terminals. Musk vehemently denied these claims, stating that to the best of his knowledge, no Starlinks had been sold to Russia, directly or indirectly.

Just last week, Musk had declared that he had no business relations with Russia and that Starlink did not work there. This statement from the CEO of SpaceX came in response to an audio recording released by Ukrainian military intelligence on Telegram, which reportedly featured Russian paratroopers discussing the deployment of Starlink terminals. No statement has been issued by Russia regarding these claims. It should be noted that Starlink is operated by SpaceX.
