On May 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Southwest University officially unveiled a new mural at the Southwest University Technology Trade Center in El Paso, Texas. Members of the community, faculty, students, and industry partners were in attendance for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests were able to explore the new section, observe demonstrations of Penske’s tools, and learn about the collaboration between Southwest University and Penske.
President Ben Arriola expressed pride in the partnership with Penske and highlighted how it has benefitted students by providing them with valuable skills. The new section symbolizes the university’s dedication to innovation and education. KVIA ABC 7 encourages respectful and relevant conversations among its viewers.
