The second of three games in what’s essentially a non-MTE, MTE concludes Illinois’ busy weekend with a 7 p.m. showdown against Southern. The goal for tonight against the Jaguars? Get off to a better start than Friday. Illinois did beat Valparaiso, but trailing by 10 at two points in the first half probably wasn’t the plan.
