Rashad Johnson, a four-star safety recruit, is expected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. Despite his original commitment date of July 1, Johnson has postponed his decision to July 14. Steve Wiltfong of On3 predicts that Johnson will choose Georgia over Penn State, Louisville, and Texas A&M. Wiltfong also anticipates that Georgia will secure another four-star safety in their recruiting class.
Johnson currently plays for South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Florida, where he also showcases his skills as a wide receiver. In his highlights, Johnson demonstrates excellent ball skills, athleticism, and strong tackling abilities. On3 ranks Rashad Johnson as the No. 360 prospect in the nation, the No. 49 recruit in Florida, and the No. 33 safety in the country.
Despite Georgia not yet having commitments from defensive backs in the class of 2025, it is expected that Johnson will soon fill that gap in their recruiting class. With 17 commitments already in the class of 2025, the Bulldogs continue to strengthen their roster with top-tier talent.
Georgia football currently boasts the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation behind Alabama and Ohio State. The Bulldogs have secured several highly sought-after recruits such as running back Jaxon Adams and quarterback Carson Beck from Tennessee and Arkansas respectively.
