On Saturday, NASCAR Xfinity Series teams will be qualifying and racing at Sonoma Raceway. The Cup teams will also be preparing for their race on the 1.99-mile road course on Sunday by qualifying on Saturday. The schedule for Saturday at Sonoma Raceway includes mostly sunny skies with a high of 77 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
The garage will open at 11 a.m. for both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series teams. Track activity for the day will include Xfinity qualifying from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., followed by Cup qualifying from 6 – 7 p.m. Both qualifying sessions will be broadcasted on FS2. The Xfinity race, consisting of 79 laps and totaling 156.95 miles, will begin at 8 p.m. and will be broadcasted on FS1, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
