Lions head coach Dan Campbell has revealed that running back Jahmyr Gibbs is currently not practicing with the team due to a soft tissue injury. Despite not being seen as a serious injury, soft tissue injuries can linger if not given proper rest. The Lions have high hopes for Gibbs this season, and they are taking his injury seriously. Running backs coach Scottie Montgomery expressed the team’s desire for Gibbs to excel in the passing game during his second year. However, this development will have to wait until Gibbs has fully recovered from his injury.
