In recent years, many sports-music couples have emerged as a result of the crossover between the worlds of sports and music. One of the most famous examples is David and Victoria Beckham, known as Posh Spice, who set the trend for such pairings.

In a recent interview with Variety, soccer legend David Beckham spoke out about his hope that history doesn’t repeat itself when it comes to the treatment of “Anti-Hero” singer Taylor Swift in the sports world. He recalled how football fans used to sing songs about Victoria during their relationship in the 90s, hoping that this behavior has improved over time.

When asked about Swift and Travis Kelce, David expressed disbelief that such discussions were happening and mentioned how brutal some NFL fans can be towards athletes’ famous partners. Despite this, he believes that Taylor is strong enough to handle whatever comes her way and that she will continue to excel in her career.

In addition to discussing Swift’s relationship with Kelce, David also talked about surprising Victoria for her birthday with a Spice Girls reunion where all five women reunited and performed their hit song “Mama” along with dancing to “Stop.” When asked about the possibility of a Spice Girls comeback, David said it’s not happening soon as each member is busy with their own ventures. However, he expressed his desire to see them on stage again and assured fans that he would continue working towards that goal.
