The majority of the population is exposed to smoking in public places, with 94.2% reporting experiencing passive smoking on the street, in public parks, restaurants, cafes, and at bus stops. Nearly half of the public avoids going to places where smoking is prevalent, such as bars, coffee shops, social gatherings, and restaurants. About 11% of the public is in a relationship with a partner who smokes, with higher rates in Arab society and the Haifa district.
