The latest rankings for second basemen in the rest of the season have been released, and several players have dropped off the list. These include Connor Norby, Jared Triolo, Vidal Bruján, Adam Frazier, Luis Urías, Lenyn Sosa, and Andy Ibáñez. Despite this, Xavier Edwards is still batting .330 in Triple-A for the Marlins. Although he may not be as good as Luis Arraez, Edwards is one of the team’s top five hitters right now.

In other news, it would be interesting to see Miguel Vargas get regular at-bats for the Dodgers. While it is unlikely that he will replace Justin Turner or Corey Seager at third base or in left field, he has hit .324/.385/.529 in his 39 plate appearances and is expected to become a quality major league starter at some point.
