On my recent four-day cruise on the Carnival Firenze, I opted to skip most of the additional amenities that came with a charge. While the ship offered a variety of complimentary family-friendly activities that exceeded what some of its competitors had on their latest vessels, I felt that my decision to skip the up-charged food options resulted in a less thrilling cruise experience.
If you’re looking for an affordable way to explore multiple destinations while enjoying unlimited food and various activities, the Carnival Firenze is a great option. With costs averaging less than $80 per day in 2024, cruises can be an affordable vacation option. However, if you’re not willing to spend extra on additional offerings, you may have a different experience compared to those who are willing to pay for upgrades.
