The College-Rolando Library offers a unique and exciting opportunity for youth ages 0-18 and their families to enjoy a variety of enriching activities during the summer months. From Monday to Friday, between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., families can visit the library for a grant-funded free lunch, as well as engaging programs that are suitable for the whole family.

The library’s Summer Lunch events include STEM Tuesdays with Mad Science and Fleet Science Center, which kicked off on June 11th and 18th respectively. These events feature topics such as the science of sound and chemical reactions, and include interactive demonstrations that make learning about science fun.

In addition to STEM Tuesdays, the library also offers a range of other weekly events, including Movie Mondays, Storytelling Wednesdays, Community + Craft Thursdays, and Fun Fridays featuring puzzles, board games, chess, and LEGOs. The Free Summer Lunch at the Library program will continue until August 2nd.
