Former Kentucky guard Rob Dillingham is set to participate in a workout with the San Antonio Spurs, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. After completing his draft combine testing at the Los Angeles Lakers’ practice facility last Friday, Dillingham has recently been cleared for on-court activities and is eager to showcase his skills to potential teams.

Following his workout with the Spurs, Dillingham is scheduled to meet with the Detroit Pistons. Additionally, he has drawn interest from the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz for potential visits. With one more week of workouts and interviews ahead of him before the draft on June 26-27, Dillingham has a lot at stake.

During his freshman year, Dillingham earned the title of SEC Sixth Man of the Year after averaging 15.2 points, 3.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and one steal per game while shooting 44.4% from beyond the arc. He ranked ninth in the conference in assists and third in 3-point percentage. Standing at 6-foot-2, Dillingham is considered one of the top guards in the upcoming draft and a possible top-10 pick due to his versatility in both ball-handling situations and off-ball play make him an exciting prospect, especially in transition where his speed and agility shine.

With one more week of workouts and interviews ahead of him, Dillingham has the opportunity to showcase his skills to various teams. While his draft range is still uncertain, he has the potential to be a cornerstone player for a franchise in the future if he can continue to improve and develop as a player
