I have recently made some changes to my rankings for second basemen for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, some players have dropped off the list, including Thomas Saggese, Cavan Biggio, and Enrique Hernández. However, I believe that Edouard Julien’s recent struggles may be due to him being sent down by the Twins to make room for Royce Lewis. Although Julien has not been productive recently, there is still potential for him to provide value in mixed leagues once he returns.

The Marlins chose to send Xavier Edwards down instead of activating him after a two-month IL stint due to a foot infection. It is hoped that they will give him a chance to play either second base or shortstop soon. Although Edwards may not be as productive as Luis Arraez, he is a similar type of hitter and a legitimate stolen base threat. While he may face challenges generating fantasy value in a struggling Miami lineup, Edwards is still an intriguing player to watch.
