Trina McGee, who played Shawn Hunter’s love interest on the ABC sitcom in 1997, is expecting her first child with husband Marcello Thedford. Despite being older than most of her co-stars, she married him in 2008.
In a recent interview with People, Trina shared that her children found out about her pregnancy online, which left one of them feeling upset. She didn’t anticipate it being a big deal, but it clearly affected her child. While she didn’t personally inform her children, she did share the news with her former Boy Meets World co-stars Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider before announcing it publicly.
Trina mentioned that her pregnancy was unexpected, as she thought she was done having children almost three decades after her youngest child. The news came as a shock to her.
