Sheffield Wednesday has signed 22-year-old winger Olaf Kobacki from Arka Gdynia for an undisclosed fee. Kobacki had a standout season with Arka Gdynia, scoring 13 goals in 32 appearances as they finished third in the Polish second tier last season. The Owls have also secured defender Dominic Iorfa to a new contract, who has been with the club since January 2019 and has made 142 appearances for the team.

The lengths of both Kobacki and Iorfa’s contracts have not been disclosed by Sheffield Wednesday. This makes them the sixth and seventh new signings for the team this summer, respectively. The Owls are looking to make an impact in the upcoming Championship season, starting with a home match against Plymouth on Sunday, 11 August. With their new signings and existing talent, Sheffield Wednesday is set to be a force to be reckoned with in the league.
