After a grueling seven-game Western Conference Final, the Edmonton Oilers secured a spot in the Stanley Cup Final by defeating the Dallas Stars with a score of 2-1 in Game 6. However, it was not Joe Pavelski who played his final NHL game against the Oilers, but rather Evander Kane.

Kane suffered an early injury in the game and did not play in the third period. He will have some time to recuperate before the team faces off against the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final on June 8th. Despite this, there are still rumors circulating that this may be Pavelski’s last season in the NHL.

Sharks legend Sheng Peng will continue to cover the team for NBC Sports California and through the San Jose Hockey Now podcast. To keep up with his coverage of the team, you can follow him on Twitter at @Sheng_Peng.
