In the stunning Pakleni Islands off the coast of Hvar, swimming is a popular activity among tourists. However, in one particular spot where sharks were recently spotted, entering the sea can be challenging. As a precaution, many people choose to swim to the left and right of the area where the sharks were seen.
During a recent visit to the area, a reader captured an astonishing sight – two sharks swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Believed to be blue sharks, the observer was both amazed and scared at the sight. For a fee of 130 euros, they risked their safety to get a closer look and even jumped into the sea with the sharks.
As they approached, the observer quickly took out their phone and began recording the encounter. When others nearby started to panic and shout warnings of “Shark, shark!”, the observer reassured them that everything was under control. Despite initial fear, the encounter with these majestic creatures turned out to be an unforgettable experience for the reader.
