In June 2024, Nasdaq made significant changes to the Nasdaq OMX Helsinki Benchmark index, which represents the largest and most actively traded shares in Helsinki. The index now includes a used car seller, Kamux, a restaurant company, NoHo Partners, and a cruise company, Viking Line.

However, several companies were removed from the index as well. These include a game company, Remedy, a construction company, SRV Group, and a steel company, SSAB. These changes will take effect when the market opens on Monday, June 3rd.

The OMXHB index is reviewed twice a year during the months of June and December to ensure its accuracy and relevance to the current market conditions.
