Ryan and Brandi Sargent, a married couple with a passion for coffee and giving back to the community, have finally opened SGT. Coffee Co., a new walk-up shop in Gahanna. After 25 years of dreaming about starting a business together, the couple has finally turned that dream into a reality.

Their shop, located at 106 Short St., is housed in a mobile pop-up camper that they converted into a walk-up coffee shop. The couple serves a variety of coffees, sparkling drinks, and tea, all sourced from Crimson Cup. They are committed to supporting local veteran nonprofits and have created a drink named after Brandi’s family member who was a veteran and recently passed away. Proceeds from the sale of this drink will be donated to a veterans’ charity.

In addition to their coffee offerings, SGT. Coffee Co. will also be serving vegan and gluten-free pastries from Madelyn’s of Granville starting in July. Customers can enjoy a warm beverage while supporting a great cause at this new community-focused establishment in Gahanna.

Ryan, an army veteran himself, hopes to give back to the community by supporting local veteran nonprofits through SGT. Coffee Co. He believes that every veteran deserves support and respect, and he wants his shop to be a place where they can come and feel appreciated.
