On Friday, PGA top golfer Scottie Scheffler was arrested outside Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY while trying to access the next round of the PGA tour. The arrest occurred due to his disregard for traffic signals around the scene of an accident, as well as criminal mischief, reckless driving, and second-degree assault of a police officer.

ESPN reported on the incident and published a video of the arrest shortly after it happened. Now two new clips from the Louisville Metro Police Department show the arrest from two angles – an aerial view above the accident and a ground level view from a cruiser. The aerial view is clearer and shows Scheffler’s arrival at the golf club’s fence and his car sitting unmoving. However, the ground level view is obstructed by other vehicles in the area.

In longer video footage released by police, it is evident that they had been directing vehicles into Valhalla Golf Club when Scheffler cut in line and took an inside route through a turn-in while a bus was in the middle of an intersection. Despite being stopped by police for this offense, Scheffler still made it to play in the tournament that afternoon and placed eighth in standings after warming up in jail that morning.
