This Thursday, the Michigan Science Center and the Grand Rapids Downtown Market are collaborating to host “Sciencepalooza.” The event will take place under the Market Shed and will offer engaging activities for students in grades K-7.

Mimi Fritz, president and CEO of the Grand Rapids Downtown Market, expressed excitement about the partnership with the Michigan Science Center. Education and community are core values for both organizations, making this event a perfect fit. The goal of Sciencepalooza is to encourage curiosity and critical thinking among participants.

The event features 10 interactive stations with a range of themes such as energy conduction, vacuum chambers, sea level studies, memory games, robots, and flying machines. Sciencepalooza promises to be a fun-filled and informative day for attendees.
