The PGA Tour concluded its final signature event of the season with Scottie Scheffler emerging as the winner after defeating Tom Kim in a playoff at the Travelers Championship held at TPC River Highlands. This victory marked Scheffler’s fourth signature-event win of the year, further solidifying his record-breaking season total earnings. With this win, Scheffler added another $3.6 million to his impressive season earnings.

The tournament boasted a $20 million purse that was distributed among the limited field of players in the no-cut event. Along with Scheffler and Kim, other top finishers included Tom Hoge and Sungjae Im, who each earned $1.16 million for finishing tied for third place. Players like Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau, Justin Thomas, and Akshay Bhatia each took home $702,500 for their tied fifth-place finish.

Further down the leaderboard, Brian Harman, Wyndham Clark, Cameron Young, and Shane Lowry finished tied for ninth place, earning $520,000 each. The remaining players also received varying amounts from the purse, with the last few players earning between $39,250 and $40,500.
