Looking for a delicious autumn cocktail to enjoy before the start of Advent? Here’s a recipe for a warm drink that is sure to satisfy your cravings. You will need 300 ml of whole milk, grated peel of one orange, 100 g of chopped dark chocolate, 75 ml cooking cream and 50 ml of rum (if desired).

To make this drink at home, first heat the milk gently over medium heat. Once it starts to simmer, add the grated zest and let it boil for about 2-3 minutes. After that, remove from heat and let it cool at room temperature for a few minutes.

Next, strain the peel from the milk using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Add the chopped chocolate to the hot milk and stir until it is completely melted. Stir in the cooking cream and return to the fire to warm up slightly before pouring in your desired amount of rum (if using).

Once everything is heated through, pour your warm cocktail into mugs or glasses and serve with whipped cream and biscuits if desired. Enjoy the combination of flavors that will take you on a journey to autumn!
