SAP, a company specializing in computer products for business management, is taking a unique approach to the fiercely competitive landscape of large technology companies vying for the top spot in the artificial intelligence (AI) app space. Instead of creating standalone AI apps, SAP is integrating key AI features into its existing programs and services.

At the Sapphire user conference in Orlando, Florida, SAP made several significant announcements regarding its AI initiatives. The company revealed plans to use Meta’s Llama 3 to generate scripts in SAP Analytics Cloud and expanded its partnership with Google to integrate Joule with Google’s Gemini assistant. Agreements were also reached with Microsoft and Nvidia to enhance Joule’s capabilities and integration with their platforms.

SAP’s CEO, Christian Klein, emphasized the importance of these new AI innovations in reshaping the business landscape and helping companies achieve real-world results. With Joule already integrated into SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Start, the company plans to expand its use to other platforms such as SAP Ariba, SAP BTP Cockpit, and SAP Analytics Cloud in the near future.

Through partnerships with major tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia, SAP is positioning itself at the forefront of AI integration in enterprise applications. By harnessing the power of generative AI, SAP is enhancing its ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses across various industries.
