The Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors recently congratulated Sanford Health on the expansion of its Heart and Vascular Center and East Lobby remodel. This expansion is significant as it allows patients with irregular heartbeats to receive treatment close to home, thanks to the electrophysiology capabilities of the new CATH lab.
Earlier this year, the cardiovascular team at Sanford Health made history by performing the region’s first-ever cardiac ablation in the new electrophysiology CATH lab. This advancement in technology and treatment options is a great benefit to patients in the Bemidji area. The newly expanded heart center now includes a third catheterization (CATH) lab, expanded nurses station, private offices for clinicians, improved wayfinding and lobby experience for patients, and additional clinic rooms for future growth.
