Samsung has recently released two new devices in its mid-range lineup, the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G. These devices come with a range of features that enhance security, photography, and content viewing.

The Galaxy A55 5G features an enhanced Nightography feature that uses image signal processing (ISP) powered by artificial intelligence to capture clearer and more vibrant photos in low light conditions. It also includes Night Portrait mode and videos with 12-bit HDR. Both devices feature Super AMOLED screens in high definition, measuring 6.6 inches, with Vision Booster technology ensuring that the display remains clear and bright across various lighting environments.

Samsung has introduced its security solution, Knox Vault, to the Galaxy A series for the first time. The device provides comprehensive protection against hardware and software attacks by creating a secure execution environment separated from the main processor and system memory, safeguarding the device’s encryption keys. Both devices are further secured by Samsung Knox, a multi-layer security platform designed to protect critical information and defend against vulnerabilities with end-to-end secure hardware, real-time threat detection, and collaborative protection.

The devices also offer ‘Automatic Blocker,’ an optional suite of security measures that prevent unauthorized app installations, perform security checks for malware, and block potentially harmful commands and software installations via USB connection. Samsung has emphasized that both devices will receive up to four generations of Android operating system updates and One UI along with five years of security updates. These devices will be available on April 8 in various memory configurations offering up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage in colors such as black, blue
