Samsung Electronics unveiled its new line of Odyssey OLED, Smart Monitor i ViewFinity monitors for 2024 on Tuesday. These advanced models bring a range of features to users worldwide, including OLED technology, AI capabilities, better connectivity, and multi-functionality.
Samsung’s latest offering includes the revolutionary Odyssey OLED gaming monitor series with models like the Odyssey OLED G8, which is Samsung’s first flat 32-inch OLED gaming monitor with 4K resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, and 0.03 ms response time. The Odyssey OLED G6 offers a 27-inch QHD display with a 360 Hz refresh rate. Both models utilize AI technology and innovative features to prevent screen burn-in. The AI content enhancement feature only works when using built-in Smart TV applications and the Samsung Gaming Hub platform.
The Smart Monitor series includes the M8, M7, and M5 models with resolutions up to 4K. The M8 model utilizes AI technology to optimize content and sound and includes a built-in SlimFit camera for video calls. The new Workout Tracker feature enables real-time monitoring of health data with the Galaxy Watch smartwatch.
The ViewFinity series targets creatives and professionals, offering monitors made of recycled plastic with support for HDR10 and reproduction of a billion colors. The S8, S7, and S6 models come in various sizes and resolutions up to 4K UHD, with additional features like USB-C ports and KVM switches.
The new Samsung monitors are available for pre-order starting June 4th with special benefits for early buyers including free Galaxy Buds headphones.
